FCD

Bagharay baingan

Ingredient's

Aubergine - ½ kg

Ginger - 1 tsp

Garlic - 1 tsp

Tamarind pulp - ¼ cup

Curry leaves - hand full 

Brown onion - ½ cup

For Tarka

Funnel seeds - ½ tsp

Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

Carom seeds - ¼ tsp 

Mustard seeds - ½ tsp

Black seeds - ¼ tsp

fenugreek seeds - ½ tsp

For gravy (Dry roasted)

Sesame seed - 2 ½ tbsp ( dry roasted)

Peanuts - 2½ tbsp

Desiccated coconut - 2½ tbsp

Poppy seed - 2½ tbsp

 

Put them all in blender then add water (as required),brown onion and then blend it *paste is ready* 

Dry Spice's

Red chili powder - 1 ½ tsp 

Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp

Turmeric powder - ½ tsp

Jaggery - 1 tsp

Asafoetida - ¼ tsp
