Chat pati Chicken Biryani

Ingredients

1 kg - Chicken
750g - Rice
1 large - Brown onion
3 - Green chills 
1 - Tomato 
1 - Lemon
¼ cup - Coriander leaves
¼ cup - Mints leaves 
2 tbsp - Ginger garlic paste
250g - Yogurt
½ cup - Oil 
½ tsp - Essence 
¼ tsp - Orange food colour 

Whole spices

1 tsp - Black pepper 
10 - Green cardamom 
3 - Black cardamom  
4 to 5 - Cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp - Cumin seeds
2 - Bay leafs

Dry spices 

2 tbsp - Homemade biryani masala
½ tsp - Turmeric powder
1 tsp - Red chilli powder
½ tsp - Paprika powder
1 tsp - Chaat masala
1 tsp - Garam masala powder
½ tsp - Green cardamom powder
¼ tsp - Nutmeg and mace powder
Salt as required
